Independent schools 11+ / 13+ support thread

Hi everyone,

DC applying to senior independent schools at the moment (11+ and 13+ entry). I've found ISEB support threads for children in Year 5 and for 11+ grammar schools, but not any for DCs in Year 6 applying for 11+/13+ to independent schools. Are there any around?

I'd really love to join as prepping has taken its toll and I'm stressed and anxious at the moment (trying not to show DC, ofc). DC has their ISEB pre-test at the end of this month. They're not doing as well on Atom as they do on paper tests, and I'm starting to panic since most of the schools we've applied to do ISEB. So thought I'd come on here to find a support group, but haven't found any.

Anyone's DC doing ISEB pre-tests this month??

Would you mind send me the link please? We are applying to Radley College, Christ Hospital, Brighton College and Winchester College. Not sure what their target range for SAS are. Heard there’s a list around but can’t find it. What schools are you applying to, and any idea what SAS scores DC needs to get? Thank you!

These are all selective boarding schools. Maybe you should ask on the boarding school thread, where you'll probably get a better response.

How did they do in the end? I'm not sure how reflective Atom is when it comes to the actual exam. Hoping my DS will be successful on the day!
