Kensington Aldridge Academy

Kensington Aldridge Academy (or KAA) is looking like the only school my DD will be getting into.
She is absolutely thriving at her small and nurturing primary, a school that knows each could and praises them for their successes.
We moved from the States, where that wasn't the case with her school... And we don't want to go back to being just another kid in a sea of kids.
Can any parents share their experiences with KAA? We, unfortunately, did not have any success with the aptitude tests we did at other schools. I don't if I should be looking at the independent sector (which we really can't afford) or what we should do? I'm feeling panicked, and would love some insights please! Thank you!

We're in the same boat as our DD also didn't succeed at the other aptitude tests she did. She's on the waiting list for KAA, but quite high so she has good chances to get in. I don't know much about the school, so I'll follow your thread!

Thanks! Congratulations to your daughter! That's amazing! I hope she gets in.
It's definitely a good school. We went to the open night and liked it -- but there's nothing quite like heading parent's experiences firsthand! Also, my daughter is quite shy... So I'm just nervous about this adjustment in general. Best of luck!

We didn't go to the open evening as it was one of 3 open evenings happening the same day! Hopefully some KAA parents see this thread!
