I've heard very good things about KAA, but we knew there was no chance to get our DD in because we live way out of their catchment area. Even though I still wanted to go to their open evening, we ended up not going because it was on the same day as our local secondary school (not our favourite school but where DD is most likely to end up in).
As she really wanted to try their scholarship test (her friend was doing it 😉), we let her do it. To our great surprise, she scored 23rd so she'll be number 2 on the waiting list!
That changes everything, especially because we were getting a bit depressed with our school choices. She tried St Marylebone and Twyford music tests but didn't go through, and we're still waiting to hear from the Grey Coat Hospital language test. Our closest secondary schools aren't very academic.
Parents of DC going to KAA, can you tell me about the school? Are you and your children happy there?
