Marylebone High - Scholariships & Wait Lists

My daughter has just been put on the waiting list for Marylebone High for a performing arts scholarship. We now don't know whether we put it as first or second choice against our nearer school? Does anyone have any experience of being on the waiting list? Does anyone know how long the list is and what the likelihood might be of getting a scholarship place as a result of someone else turning it down?

Came here with the same question. Wonder how many of us are on the reserve list? 🤔

No harm in putting it down first if that is truly your first choice. It wouldn't affect your chances of getting a place at the nearer school.

@mummyathome3 you may already know this, but if not, check what your number is on the reserve list - the school would give you an idea what the chances are you will get the offer in the end. Agree with PBC - put down the schools in the order of your priority. From my experience with my other DC, we first got our #5 option, then, within two months, #4,3 and, finally, #2. So, the lists are moving and you need to think hard which school tops your personal list as you may get it in the end.
