Gillotts School or GMS

OK, thanks. I think it might depend where you live.

If you live in Buckinghamshire (where Marlow GMS is) then I believe the grammar system still operates. In which case if you have that option I would choose either Sir William Borlase or Wycombe High School.

My experience isn't recent but at Gillotts they have to leave after GCSEs and usually go to the Henley College for 6th form. That is not always a good thing - although some children do well, others frequently lose their way due to the informal nature of the teaching and lack of structure and sometimes wildly impractical timetable.

GMS is an Academy school that seems them all the way through to 6th form, so for that reason alone I would probably choose GMS over Gillotts if I lived that side of Henley and transport could be easily sorted.
