Chelmsford County vs Colchester County

Hello,
My daughter has managed to get decent scores to have a good chance at either of these schools. We live in Chelmsford, and CCHS would have been our first choice. But now I have heard great things about Colchester County too. I’ll be grateful for any advise or experience that can be shared!

I hope the school has addressed the issues

FWIW my DD went to KEGS from an co-Ed private school - some years ago now so it may have changed. She found some of the boys socially awkward eg couldn't talk to a girl without blushing/stammering. There was a fair amount of sexism from a minority (boys openly marking girls out of 10) but unfortunately no different from what she'd experienced at her previous school. She says most teachers and students (male and female) were good at challenging this. Overall, she loved the teaching-style at the school and was happy there. Her KEGS boyfriend was delightful and definitely not sexist. That relationship didn't survive university, but she has long term platonic friendships with some of the boys she met in sixth form.
