Combined Science GCSE 7/6 or 6/7

I wonder if anyone knows if there is a difference between

6/7 and a 7/6

for the combined science GCSE? My DC has been predicted one but a 6th form college requires the other.

I don’t think 6/7 exists, the higher grade goes first so one school has made a mistake.

Reckon one school has just typed it out wrong and your child will have gotten a 7/6. Either way, they should be fine to get into the 6th form providing that is in fact their grade.

6-7 is not a grade, whoever wrote that is incorrect. It's 7-6.

Thanks so much. A typo makes sense. I was desperately trying to work out the subtle difference. Now he just has to get the grades!
