Hi, I am thinking of moving to Bournemouth from Birmingham but not sure yet. Does anyone know if DD needs to sit test for both regions or one will be fine as I know both are GL?

She will have to be registered for, and take, the exam(s) for the area(s) where you intend to apply for schools.

Also be aware that BSG is very oversubscribed and the nearer you can move to the school the better as it often comes down to distance and a lot of girls get excellent scores on the 11+.

Poole is less competitive.
