Does anybody have experience of applying to Bradfield at 13+?

We were initially told DS would have to go to the school to sit their entrance exams in English and maths, but now it seems we can take the exams online. (DS has already taken his ISEB Pre-Test.) Many thanks.

Hi yes my daughter went to bradfield this year. She took her bradfield 13 plus test in Jan. There is a maths, English comprehension and two online interviews appx 30 mins eac; one with a house master and one with an English teacher. The interviews my daughter thought were really supportive and she did not feel pressured, in fact I overheard her and it was a delight to listen to a mature conversation about a current affair topic of her choice. She talked about the book she is reading at the moment and what her interests are. Bradfield are known for their nurturing and supportive environment. The maths and English test are done in front of the camera and I believe you have about 5 mins or so to scan and hand the papers back. My daughter felt that having the test at home made her less nervous, personally I live the pressure of an exam hall to motivate me. I hope this is helpful. And good luck.
