Hi - we are in Hendon and looking for good secondary schools. Happy to look at independent or grammar if we get in. Any ideas - ideally somewhere reasonably academic but not crazy like HB. We are thinking South Hampstead, NLCS, Northbridge? Not sure we can make catchment for places nearer North Finchley like St Michaels

Don't know anyone who would have NLCS, SHHS and Northbridge on one list! The first two are fiercely academic, Northbridge certainly not in that league.

Habs? Mill Hill County.

I am not sure what you mean by make catchment at St Michaels. It’s a girls catholic grammar school, so no catchment as such, entry will be by way of the entrance exam. You will need to have a certificate of holy communication.

@London1305f then it's a definite no then! SHHS seems a maybe for location but very competitive

Does anyone know for the North London Consortium, if you take this exam, do you apply to a selection of schools and they take the results of the one exam?
