Tring performing Arts

Does anyone know of transport to Tring performing Arts school, and are most child ‘local’. My daughter is interested but it’s an hours drive from us. She isn’t keen on boarding full time. Maybe a couple of nights mid week! It seems train route isn’t good?

The train station at Tring is about a 25 minute walk from the town and down an unlit country road (albeit with pavement). It’s not a walk I would want to do in the winter. There is a public bus route that connects the two but it’s at odd times.

I believe the school runs a minibus service back and forward to the station, well at least they always used to.

To be fair, quite a few children do board there. Those who are say students tend to live reasonably close and are driven there by parents.
