Latymer Upper - VAT and bursaries

Are there any current parents of LU on here? We were hoping to apply for Y7 2025 entry. Have there been any news or updates from the school regarding VAT or their bursary programme?

No, they haven't said anything yet. But the bursary fund is held separately and it's such an important thing to the school
I imagine they'll try and maintain the level of bursaries. I guess the issue will be that some of the current bursary students may need more and also that current parents may donate less. But there are some alumni and current parents with very deep pockets so hopefully they can maintain their programme.
I expect they'll send something out soon but they've been dealing with other things the last week or so as well.

Oh gosh. That's so sad. I missed the news of it being a Latymer girl.

They will have been dealing with this awful news but also A level and GCSE results. I'd contact them and I'm sure they'll have a plan in place, VAT has been on the agenda forever so its hardly coming as a surprise
