I'd suggest you repost (or ask MN to change your title) with the school names in the title. That makes it more likely that you will attract people who are actually able to help.

Blenheim High have slightly better GCSE results but both schools are very average.
But this is only academic measure. Read Oftsead reports for both schools. Talk to the parents about bullying, pastoral care, after school clubs. Commute etc

Compare the performance of schools and colleges in England

Check school performance tables (‘league tables’), Ofsted reports and financial information.

I agree that you need to put school names in the title - or Epsom so that people go know about the schools comment.

My son is at Epsom & Ewell High but a lot of children from his primary went to Blenheim. Blenheim is probably considered the better school by many parents and lots are very happy with it and desperate to get their kids in. I knew it was not the right school for my son and didn’t want him to go. My son has ADHD and wouldn’t have coped with the rules at Blenheim. They are very strict - think detention for walking the wrong way in the corridor or writing in the wrong colour ink - and whilst it is great for some children, kids with ADHD who struggle with executive function can become demoralised and aren’t given adequate support.

EEHS was actually our 4th choice but I am so happy he got it. They value well-being over exam results and are very collaborative and communicative. The teachers are supportive and empathetic and have really supported my son.

if you want to PM me I’m happy to answer any questions. I think which school is best really depends on your particular child, but both are good schools.
