New thread as no 4 is nearly full

Drama came back unchanged so two subjects came back with no changes and all three science papers changed a little bit and the grade went up over the boundary. Nothing dramatic. It is worrying to hear about the big changes for some papers - I guess in the minority but it makes you lose faith in the system.

@Knownoone what are the subjects? Is it maths by any chance? my DS's school did baseline tests in the first couple of weeks for maths. I guess they need to make sure that students are able to keep up.

DC and friend each had one of their AQA RS papers reviewed at the request of the school. They were both one mark off a grade 9. One of them went up by a single mark and the other by two so both now have the 9. It's taken forever though!

Has anyone received their certificates yet? We are still waiting

We had an awards evening at school the other night and got them then.

I haven't received certificates yet or refund on the remarked papers. Has anyone received their refund yet?

No certificates or even an email to tell us when or how he gets them.
We never paid for a remark school sent email for permission to request it then he had an email stating his grade had changed.

We got the refund really quickly through the school. No certificates yet.

Emailed school to ask - they should be ready by the end of next week apparently!

Ours get theirs this week - pain in the bum timing as there is no sixth form they all go elsewhere and the school haven't thought about how the kids get there to get them in the times given.

DD picked hers up from school in Wednesday.

DS got his last week.

DD’s have now come in the post.
