DS is coming to the end of year 9, with an older brother who is actively talking about career options - prompting him to try to come up with ideas of what he might be able to do too. He’s pretty smart, better in English and humanities than STEM, but his stand out strength seems to be his creative ideas - he can’t draw well but comes up with interesting art concepts, product design ideas, and it shows in creative writing too. He’s not chosen creative GCSE options because he lacks the execution skills - gross and fine motor skills have never been great. He's doing Computing GCSE, but isn’t deeply into coding like some kids are his age.
Can anyone suggest career ideas that utilise his creative brain when he’s not a typical ‘creative’ in his artistic abilities?
