DDs new secondary has a plain black blazer so we can buy it from anywhere. Please can you share your experience of best black blazers? Especially which were the most comfortable/ flexible? Supermarket / uniform shop / online - any supplier is fine.

we never had blazers at our school and I can’t imagine hiw uncomfortable they must be to learn in day in day out 🙁. I want to get her the best option I can.

thanks so much

You're over-complicating it, they're not that uncomfortable. Just get one that fits her, is machine-washable, and has a zipped internal pocket for her lunch card.

They are alright. Just get one that fits well and as pp said has a zip internal pocket and is washable. My dcs' were made of recycled bottled, apparently, so were quite a nasty texture. If I had the choice I would have gone for a more breathable, natural fabric.

The marks and spencer one is good because it has large pockets which will fit a smart phone. Its around £30. We have an asda one too which has a really nice cut but doesn't have very big pockets.

They're nowhere near as bad as you think. We have to have the uniform shop one, it's machine washable, I wash ours every Friday, DS' is really quite soft now!
