Maths AS level how did your children find it?

Just that really, I'm not discussing content incase of late sitters/clashes....just general mood of DC afterwards. Mine said it was hard and unfortunately a lot of what was revised didn't come up 🫣

My DD said it didn’t go well and there were some questions she missed out as she didn’t know how to tackle them. She got an A in her mock and was consistently getting As in revision papers so she was not happy! Fortunately she is doing AS maths as an extra in Year 13 and it won’t matter from the point of view of getting the grades she needs for uni.

That's good news @PumpkinKnitter that it won't make a difference for uni. My DC has spoken to quite a few class mates and all seem to agree the paper was on a whole different level of difficulty to previous ones. Fingers xed grade boundaries reflect this 🤞

@BlueskyBluesea Let's hope so! I know DD would like to get a good grade, even if it doesn't have anything hanging on it. 🤞for your DC.

WJEC here and ds found it surprisingly difficult. All his friends too!
