Watches secondary school

I just wondered which watches secondary school boys use now? My son has a smart watch style one and appreciate you not allowed these due to the ability that they could receive texts. He doesn't use it for that but likes the compass etc on it. Thank you :)

I think a lot of kids don't wear watches at all, they rely on phones, and in schools there are clocks and bells.
