Anyone have recent experience of this school? We are looking for our DD for yr7 intake but seems the school has been recently taken over by a company and there seems to be no appointed headteacher; can anyone advise?

I don't have personal experience, but I believe it was previously a Bellevue school and they have sold it recently? So I think a company has just bought it from another one!

Our kids are in the prep school. We love it. The new headteacher starts after summer. The interim head is fantastic. Happy for you to dm if you have any questions.

Not an issue to be honest, as another poster has said it is due to another company taking over the school.

The school was bought by EIM at the beginning of Sept 2023 and they’re keen to invest in the school and improve sports, science facilities etc but continue the strong academic results. My boys are both at the school and, whilst there’s been a period of uncertainty, EIM have already made changes for the better. The new headteacher starts in September but is already present around the school from time to time. It’s an exciting time for Sherfield School and I reckon in a year or so it’ll be amazing.
