Cokethorpe School Staff Fee Discount

I am considering applying for a job at Cokethorpe. The advert mentions the following
"Fee discount for children of permanent staff subject to Cokethorpe's admissions criteria and means testing"

Just wondering if anyone affiliated with the school might be able to shed some light on how much the discount is and how the means testing criteria works?

It would only be financially viable for me to apply for the job if it's a reasonable discount. I could ask them directly but don't want them to think that is my only motivation for applying!
Thanks in advance 🙏

That's why I have a separate, more anonymous email for this sort of thing. Alternatively call up the front office and ask.

Apply. They are usually circa 50%. They should let you know in the job info as it’s a big perk.
However with general tightening you’ll might see some staff on better deals so don’t apply if it will annoy you that colleagues get a bigger fee reduction than newer members of staff.

Thanks for the replies. I have worked in independent schools ( not a teacher) and in my experience there is quite a range of discounts offered. 50% would be ideal so fingers crossed for that!
They've give no specifics in the job pack so I think I may need to bite the bullet and email. It was a long shot posting on here!
