Approximately how may girls apply for 11+ entry at SPG?

I know that 450 are selected for the online test and 250 for the written and then finally 110 are offered places but I was wondering what the starting numer is?

About 600-650 people apply in recent year. Note 110 is not how many get the offer. It’s about how many accepted and join in the end.

It's been 800+ for the past two years (information direct from the Admissions office). 115 places. About 130 offers.

Every applicant sits the online test. About 400 are called back for the written assessment day. Then about 200 called back for interview.

“It's been 800+ for the past two years (information direct from the Admissions office). “

It has definitely been less than 800+ for the past two years; 650 is a more accurate number. (this information also from admission officer). I suggest you ask the admissions office directly rather than relying on above.

Always best to ask the school itself - so much disinformation on here (and some regular culprits of it too).

Given your DD went through the admissions process last year, I'm baffled as to why you think you know this year's application numbers (or why you would claim that the Admissions dept told you those figures this year).

some regular culprits of it too - I agree.

I dont think any one know this years application numbers. But for last year who is going to get in this September (and the year before who started last year), the number is definitely less than 800+ as this poster claim. Why? Because I checked the year before, and I also know 2 parents whose DD took the test last year, they did some calculation and one ask the admission to double confirm this.

I am also perplex why you always claim it is over 800+ in the past two years. Supposed you have been following the process for this school for a few year should know the number.
