MME Revision Feedback

DS is currently revising for A levels. He likes to use past papers, but is starting to run out for Physics. He has found a site called MME revision where they provide "predicted" papers and mark schemes for a charge of £14.99. Has anyones's DC used these and are they worth it?

I’m very sceptical. They could put any old shite on those papers as predictions but if it’s nothing like that in the end you can’t exactly ask for a refund as they will say it’s best guess

We have done them for GCSE this year. Not necessarily because I believe they can predict what will be on papers (although there is evidence that the same types of core questions come up each year), but because my DS gets very nervous about exams and is struggling in science. We bought them so he could practise doing the exam in silence, get some experience and paid for the marking to get an idea of how well he might do.

they return the marked paper, code each topic by red, amber, green according to how to the child did, and give them a GCse grade based on the approx grade boundaries

it was £100 for 6 paper including marking but for us it has been worth it
