Waiting lists..

Anyone expecting to hear anything from waiting lists from tomorrow or too soon?

We were told we wouldn’t hear anything until 10th April, but I think each area has a slightly different system. This waiting is horrible !

I was thinking (hoping) there might be a bit of movement after the 15th March deadline to accept places passed on Friday.

Same here. Was truly hoping they would start to reallocate this week :(

If it helps, I was told by our local council that they will spend this coming week chasing up non responders (you have to actively accept places here) before withdrawing any places. The school we are interested in have said they will then get a list a week on Monday of any new vacancies and they will then contact us re offers/waiting list places in a day or so. The school we are waiting to hear from is an academy so its own admissions authority. Maybe different if the LA is administering everything

Seems as though movement has began with some authorities hopefully we will see something soon!
