Just had Parents evening. DD doing 5 AS's, and at least 3 subjects have most or all of the papers before the May Half term - some are at end of April!

They are still finishing off some course content so revision classes not yet in full swing either.

Hats off to the teachers though - they are all offering lunch-time, after school & even Spring Break Revision classes in their own time

At least, when study leave starts, she can have a rest

Is everyone else in the same boat?

Yes, DS2 is doing 3 out of 4 of his before half term (week before, not April fortunately. Apparently they are about the earliest the teachers remember. He has a load of revision to do over the Easter holidays. His college has just about finished most of the courses, despite the Spring term being so short, so will be able to spend the month before the exams mainly on revision.

Study leave in Y12?

Lilymaid · 28/03/2008 12:51

DS' college calendar says: Friday May 16 - start of main revision period for L6 students - Monday May 19th - start of main session of AS examinations. That leaves Saturday and Sunday aand the half term holiday as study leave! A2 teaching starts on Monday 9th June.

DD's study leave is officially from 15th May, with A2 courses starting 16th June, but they can take a day off before any exam if before 15th May (I found out today).
