Does anyone have an experience they would be willing to share about Wanstead High School as a secondary option? The stats look ok, but what is it like as a school? Are the children happy? Are the children supported academically at all levels? Whats the culture like within the school? I live in central london but I am looking to move further out for more space but I need to pick an area with a decent state school as we cannot afford private. Is it worth moving to this area for this school? We are used to living in multicultural and diverse area with a lot going on that keeps my kids stimulated so I also worry that we will lose this in Wanstead, but it seems like its still quite cosmopolitain despite being further out? Is this reflected in the school culture? Any insider advice would be great!
