Too many absences?

Hello, I've just got a letter to say my daughter has 93.1% attendance. I've looked at her record and she has had 7 authorised absences for illness since September. Can someone tell me if 93.1% is correct please? I've calculated it to be closed to 95% but I'm rubbish at maths!

Depends on the dates they used - sometimes at this time of year the % drops - 7 days off over the first term or 7 days off Sept to March? Makes a difference.

I'm assuming it's the year to date as she had 2 authorised days off in October and 5 authorised days off in December for illness. They also state that she had 'no mark recorded' for a morning session in Dec and and afternoon session in Feb plus a 'no reason given' for an afternoon in Jan so that's 8.5 days total (though I think they are register discrepancies)
