I'm reaching out to gather some insights and feedback from parents who have had experiences, particularly negative ones, with St Dunstan’s College. I am considering enrolling our two children, aged eight and nine, but before making a decision, I want to ensure I have a comprehensive understanding of the school environment, particularly regarding the transition process from junior school to senior school, as well as any instances of discrimination and bullying.

If you have any experiences or insights to share, whether positive or negative, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you. Your input will be invaluable in helping me make an informed decision about our children's education. Thank you.

Our DC started in year 7 last September. Only positive from us. DC is really happy. They came from another (state primary) school and I'd say the transition was done very well. There is loads going on with the Forder extra curricular stuff, which is what we chose the school for. Academically they seem to be getting the transition into secondary right, but it's obviously early days.

Hi! Our son is in the junior school and we have not yet gone through transition . We have had a positive experience. There are definitely children with additional needs and there seems to be a culture of inclusivity. Having said that, I know that some parents feel that there is an increasing focus on academics and “meeting the standards”. The only negative I can think of so far is that some parents feel that there is more pressure on kids earlier to get to where they need to be to secure a place at secondary which I understand was not always the case at st Dunstan’s.
