Can anybody please suggest how are state schools in Aylesbury(Non-grammar). We are planning to move to Kingsbrook Aylesbury area in June. My son got Good rated state school in Hounslow, so we're planning to move to Aylesbury as we are looking forward to buy a house and my daughter is in year 4, so in future her option for grammar school will be open. Can anyone suggest how are state schools in Aylesbury also does it makes any difference to be in good rated London school or outside London. Does it really makes any difference? Please suggest

Interesting to read the feedback on The Kingsbrook School, I was just starting to fall in love with the school reading all their information around character, co-curriculum and how good they claimed to be in developing kids and belongingto a trust that helps them compete with the likes of Henry Flyods. Woul de great to understand more on the overly positive they have on their website vs. reality especially being a new school of two years old. Any more feedback on the school would be great.

These discussions were from March '24. I believe Kingsbrook have made great strides in the past few terms.

I haven't heard much about Kingsbury. Colet is highly regarded, although having had 2 girls go through, it's had it's peak. That said, both had a good time there with lots of support.
Risborough is improving from where it was, my DC left there in 2020.

Listening to Guide parents (I'm a Guide leader) the Grange is going up in people's views and is more in demand. Also AVA. I have Guides who are happy at St Michael's however their experience isn't necessarily the same as anyone else's.

I always recommend visiting, every child is different and they're the one studying there.
