PRE or citizenship GCSE?

My daughter is deciding whether to chose PRE or Citizenship as a GCSE.

She really loves debate and also really loves the philosophy element of compulsory PRE but isn’t sure whether it will be similar or whether GCSE really upweights the religious aspect which is her least favourite bit.

Can anyone offer some pointers on the content she is likely to be looking at for either or both please?

there are different syllabus options, so she really should check with the school.

The version of RE that DD did was 25% Christian beliefs & practices, 25% Islamic beliefs and practices, and 50% Topic based over 4 topics (Crime & Punishment, Family & Relationships, ..))
