hey everyone, DD has been given a WL place for SWPS. Any current parents share their opinion of it please? very interested to hear thoughts on the new head mistress?

It's only an average of -7.5 pupils over each of those years. But if that trend carries on, that's a income reduction of c.£165k a year.

If you add on top any projected increase in that trend due to VAT on parents, which none of us know, it could easily be much more.

There is also the TPS, which would have likely added (giving the numbers of staff) I would guess at least £300k onto the pension costs this year.

All on all, swps is not alone in the latter 2, maybe they just see that it's best to pivot now before all these factors take hold and before you know it a health surplus is gone.

Remembering of course that switching to co-ed also costs money - facilities, space, etc.
