GDST bursary award

Hi all,

My daughter get a place in a GDST school but only 50%. Is there is any chance that they increase her award please? It is strange that they only look to your income but the do not look to your spendings. For example, we pay more than half of our income toward our rent which they do not consider in their calculation. What if our income changes in the future? will they change their award?

We've moved your thread to the Secondary Education board now.

I would suggest to contact the school and speak to them. It depends of the circumstances, they have to follow their policies but if they can help they will. Yes there are cases where they can award more then 50% it all depends on personal circumstances.
