Too tough to choose! Parmiters vs Girls Grammar

Aaaagh!
What a position to be in!
DD1 has been offered both schools and now we don't know what to choose.
WGGS is a bus ride @ 3 miles away.
Parmiters is a 1.7 mile walk or I can drop off.
She says she doesn't mind but I bet she does really.
Anyone know either school??

What a fantastic decision to make! DD1 is obviously a very clever girlie!

Where are her friends off to?

Miggsie · 24/03/2008 17:00

...if they are the same academically then consider:
friends
extra curricular activities
which head teacher you liked best

Well done to have such a choice!

Well done to your DD. Both very good schools. Maybe consider differences between all girls' environment vs mixed? How come she has offers at both - I thought you only get one offer?

Was initially offered WGGS but found out she was in second position on the Parmiters list, so decided to go on continued interest, as this was originally our first choice.
Her friends all have francis coombe.
We live near the cinema complex, Christie. Can I ask - how strict are they about the skirts and jumpers and blazers coming from the schoolwear shop in Bushey? Can't see any difference really between them and BHS, just the price!
And how much is the 'only available from school' PE kit?
Mundane but important questions!!
