Has anyone been in a similar situation of choosing between these two schools for an ADHD child and if so, I'd be interested in hearing your decision and pros/cons.
We are looking for secondary for my son who was recently diagnosed with ADHD. He socially gets on fine and is mostly distracted and not disruptive at all. But he does struggle to follow instructions because he forgets what he's meant to be doing.
I've heard Bethany is good for being supportive but I was a bit underwhelmed when we looked round at the facilities and the teachers to be honest, but I only spoke with two so may have been unlucky.
We don't visit Bede's until March.
He needs a school that's supportive but he can do well if he's interested in a subject so I don't want his whole education too relaxed. He needs a push sometimes to apply himself. But I don't want school to be miserable for him either. Also would welcome other school suggestions if anyone has any!
