Has everyone heard re bursary applications?

I was told I would hear by early feb and now hearing other people have heard for other schools, I am assuming that’s not the best news? Is anyone else waiting? Do they tell you why you didn’t get it?

My DS has received an offer of the place but no information about our bursary application was included. I’m very worried it may mean no bursary award..

I have applied to non selective so they let you do bursary application first then if it’s accepted you can come in for a taster. But heard nothing despite the longest process with an external company!! So annoyed

Motherduck9 odd that you are using an external company first. I would call the school and speak to them directly. It is also very unusual to apply for the bursary first, then do the application.

They said I could apply for a bursary before my child came in for a taster as I didn’t want to get their hopes up and they agreed. Once I get the outcome of the bursary I can arrange the taster with them. It’s for a year 6 place not 7 so maybe it’s not done on 8th feb like the rest? Who knows! I have emailed them today
