You would probably get more response if you said which locations you have in mind. It is just near Burgess Hill (not an area I know)? Or further afield. If you are considering a boarding school, there is a separate board on MN,

BHGS isn’t super selective - was it not expecting to meet her EHCP needs?

You don’t say whether single sex is important, how far you’re prepared to travel, of anything about your daughter’s personality and interests!

Which means suggestions here wouldn’t be any more useful than you googling “independent school sussex”.

Seaford College is academically non selective - but as per lack of info no idea if it would suit her!

This is really interesting. How do you know this about BH girls if you don’t mind me asking?

Testina · 27/03/2024 07:33

I know 2 girls there who wouldn’t pass super selective tests, and their website says it.

My daughter would pass those tests despite this she was turned down. Should have said in the original post we are Surrey/Sussex border and looking for private schools in commutable distance which would consider a child with an EHCP for communication & interaction as her main need. All that’s on her EHCP is needing clear instructions and support for PE.
