EBacc?

DDs school seems to be limiting their GCSE options to fit the requirements of the EBacc. As DD is keen to do triple science this is really limiting her being able to choose subjects she'd like. School say it's a useful addition for UCAS applications but I'm not sure how true that is?

It's not really true, but it is good for school league tables and does ensure a humanity and an MFL which is a rounded set for an academic child.

Good point. It's a real shame that RS doesn't count as one of the humanity choices though.
