Think schools school break up earlier this week and go back on the 3rd. Everyone is on their knees. Madness. DD16 not breaking up till Thursday. 4 days of school in which they will do very little. What do Mums think?

Ours had mocks the previous two weeks. So they are really tired.

They break up at 2.30 Friday here and back on the 8th.
It's suits me, I've took this week off work to do the last of the shopping, wrapping and cleaning and then I can relax all weekend.

The DC are breaking up at lunchtime tomorrow and going back on the 3rd. I'm glad I don't have them at home going wild with excitement all week this week TBH!

We finish Friday, by then we will have done 15 weeks of the school year. The kids ( and staff) are shattered, loads of illnesses and attendance has dropped through the floor. Sure it might suit some parents not to have their kids around 🙁but if we are working on school being for the benefit of students then finishing last Friday and thus equalising the terms a little bit would be beneficial imo in so many ways. No fun lessons here either, so I am stressing about how much all the kids off are missing.
