Harrow or Radley

My lucky son has gained a place at both Harrow and Radley for the sixth form. Does anyone have any recent experience of either school, especially in the sixth form? Any observations or comments on the particular strengths and weaknesses of each school would be welcomed. Also interested to hear from anyone whose son joined just for the sixth form. Thanks in advance!

My son attended Harrow for sixth form and graduated in 2023. He absolutely loved it and has made friends for life. I'd say it suits boys who love to get involved in sports or CCF or drama etc as that's how you get the most out of it, as they are kept very busy. Only con is that if your son is aiming for Oxbridge then be wary, as there is definitely a bias against Harrow/Eton now applicants.

Ex radley parent.
Great school. Strong in so many areas. DS went there for all 5 years, but 6th formers seemed to settle in quickly and become part of the 'family' without issues.
DS found the teaching to be excellent.
We loved the music and drama and art gallery/coffee shop!
What does your DS want from a school?
