schools with gymnastics programs

Hi my daughter is currently in year 5. She's training 12.5 hours of women's artistic gymnastics per week. We don't know whether she could become elite level or not as she wasn't training seriously until this year. She just had her first competition and did very well. I'm wondering if anyone knows which senior schools offer gymnastics programs. Ideally around North London but I accept that it may be necessary to move.

You might be best finding a club that can support her, and then going to the local secondary, with time out for competitions.

Putney high offers a gymnastics scholarship and LEH has a gymnastics program and nice facilities for it. fhsss + fhrp have a gymnastics squad but I think it is more recreational. I think surbiton might also have a gymnastics program. If at elite level all of it will be out of school and you will need to find a school comfortable with missed classes and tutoring.

Oh i forgot to mention that my daughter is in an independent school in muswell hill right now. For a number of reasons (one being the extra holidays and added flexibility) I probably want to keep her in the private sector.

Is homeschooling an option at all for you? You don't need to do it yourself, you can hire tutors. That might be easier as you can adjust it to your daughter's schedule.

Home schooling isn't really an option as my daughter lives with her father also and he wouldn't agree
