Hi
Wonder if anyone can throw some light on this.
Applying for DD Secondary Schools at the moment - we are a Catholic family - DD is baptised, communion and regular churchgoing family. So we have all the certificates and so on. But DD goes to a local state school in Chiswick - not the local Catholic school.
Looking on the criterion for entry at Sacred Heart - the main entry band seems to be Catholic Children from the listed Catholic Feeders schools in Hounslow, Hammersmith, Ealing, Brent, Richmond ... the list goes on and on. I know they apply a balloting system to decide who gets a place.
But given how oversubscribed the school is - I'm just wondering if DD has a any chance of being put into the ballot or if are the places are snapped up by girls from the feeder schools ?
Anyone with any idea or information - would be v. grateful !
