Newstead extra curricular

Hi there
Just had the Newstead results and my daughter has scored highly so should be guaranteed a place.
When I visited I had concerns about the high pressure environment and what appeared to be minimal
extra curricular activities which seemed to be significantly less than other state secondaries.
Can anybody give me any information about what the extra curricular offerings are? My DD is very sporty and musical.
Do the kids have fun there? In a world where there is so much pressure and anxiety I want her to achieve her full academic, sporting and musical potential, but also enjoy her secondary school life.

Newstead has many all-round extracurricular activities. Over 50 lunchtime clubs are run by teachers and students every day. New MUSIC BLOCK. All kinds of music clubs every day (Different levels). You can learn instruments in the school (But will overlap with some lessons). Afterschool has dancing, LAMDA and other languages for extra payments. Bromley tennis court is next door. The school does drama production. My kid is very musical. She goes to professional training outside of school. No school, including private, will offer professional national level. You can top up. Finally, the music teacher and drama teacher are new but good! My girl loves school a lot, and we do not regret our choices over super selective private schools.
