Stoke Newington school open days/evening help

Hi all!
First post here, and a bit of a long shot I know, but our 10 yr old DD has a passion to go to Stoke Newington school in year 7, and we messed up by not realizing their open mornings and evening are all now ticket only. And also now sadly fully booked up.

If theres anyone out there who now thinks they cant make it to any of the three dates, or possibly knows of someone who may have even a single ticket spare, you'd be saving the lives of two people who clearly cant parent properly...

Yeah. At this point she does. Football facilities is her priority.

Passion is a strange word to use. Contact the school. They should have some availability for walk ins as well. Not everyone with a ticket turns up.
How far do you live from the school? I went there almost 20 years ago now and even then it was 0.5m ish catchment.

I’m in the area, with one child already at SNS and one in y6 who wants to go. I can’t help you with a ticket, but I know loads of people who have missed out and are desperate to go, so hopefully if enough people complain/beg, the school will add another open morning.
The catchment varies depending on the banding test result. It’s usually tiny for the top band but is larger for lower bands.

That's really helpful info, thankyou! We've already laid it on thick with the school on the phone, and we too now know a fair few who have also missed out. So like you say, it may be they see they need to expand it a bit.
