Not made friends yet

Has anyone else’s year 7 not made any friends yet? Just checking this is normal? He had no one to sit next to at lunch time so ended up sitting next to a group of older teens which he wasn’t happy about as they started fighting (not with him)

Completely normal, are there any lunch time clubs he can join to find like minded kids who enjoy the same thing? Definitely contact school, I know it seems uncool but on another thread a teacher said that if she knows someone is struggling to make friends she would group certain students to work on group tasks to help.

No one from his primary he can latch onto for a bit? Has he tried talking to anyone he sits next to in form or class? Did he have lots of friends at primary?

No no one for his primary and he only had two friends there so was worried anyway. I will speak to the school thanks.
