My niece left there about 5 years ago. Talking about the Secondary School.

Not sure if that's recent enough.

But she didnt enjoy it. She just felt it was quite cliquey and didnt fit in.

This is just her experience.

Obviously a lot of parents were rich. Lots of big cars in the car park etc.

There was maybe a small proportion of students who were not as rich.

Full of girls- so a higher rate of mental health issues. And the sort of issues youd expect in a Girls School. Its not as academic as other schools. Decent education standards compared to a lot of the schools around it, but not really a school that pushes academic excellence. Its Clitheroe Grammar or the other one in Clitheroe if you want good grades.

So if you want your kid surrounded by other rich kids, to make connections, etc Then it's right for you. If you're kid works hard then may do well at GCSE's.

Thank you, I really appreciate the info you shared. my children are currently in Grammar schools but we have been thinking about moving closer to family etc and schooling is holding us back. I spoke to the lovely administrator at Clitheroe Grammar few weeks ago she explained they have the longest waiting list and not much movement takes place, so I thought I would try Westholme. Thank you for your reply.
