Kingsdale Foundation Sixth Form

Hello, my son has just been offered a place at Kingsdale for A-levels and I was wondering whether anyone has any feedback on it please? We don’t know anyone else who goes there and we have to let them know asap.
He’s waitlisted for Graveney which would be his first choice. Does anyone know whether they move to waitlist? Both schools said that they’ve had one 1000 applicants this year and Graveney won’t know about movement until September which feels too late!

I would suspect people are holding multiple offers and there should be some movement. Sooner rather than later when people have enrolled. We just rejected a place at Esher college. We didn't apply to either although my middle child is at Graveney secondary. I have friends whose children are at kingsdale who've had a good experience so far.

Many thanks. It’s more feedback on Kingsdale that I think I need. Whilst he would prefer Graveney, they don’t offer all the a-levels he wants to do. We want him to stay on at his current school but he seems keen for a move. We have to decide by tomorrow which adds to the pressure!

Kingsdale has an oversubscribed sixth form - my child goes to the school, and will want to go to their sixth form when the time comes. Are you wanting to know more about the school and what it's like? (lots of extra curricular activities, strong on music, drama, maths)
