London 6th forms on results day - how does it work?

Just realised that I've no idea what we're supposed to do tomorrow when the results come in. DS has places at a number of 6th forms. Even if he doesn't get the grades they're asking for do we still send his grades in and then wait for firm offers? Is that how it works?? Like probably many others, some schools are allowing subjects that others aren't (as he's not doing supporting subjects that some schools want) so there's a lot to decide - and he's going to Reading fesitval tomorrow too! Is the absolute final decision made when you get firm offers from schools?? Many thanks for any last minute advice I get!

All the schools have different arrangements - you or he need to reread all the emails from the offering schools/ colleges

We have an offer from one where the registration is online only
And another where we need to show up in person
