Hi all, any thoughts on these schools. DS goes to Charterhouse square school in Barbican. He is kind and intelligent but lacks focus to study on his own. Not a big reader either. I try to read with him but there is only so much you can do. He is sporty and a very pleasent company. I want him to achieve his potential but also not get unhappy in the race. Any helpful thoughts would be great. Thanks

They are a long way apart geographically. Where do you live?

With Westminster going co-ed and increasing competition for places at City, UCS and (co-ed) Highgate, I think Wetherby Senior is becoming a popular, not-quite-as-academic option for boys in central / north London. I don't have personal experience with it though, and (given that your DS is sporty) there may be quite a bit of travel involved getting to sports fields and facilities. While we didn't consider Wetherby specifically, travel to do sport was a factor for us when looking at schools.
