Standardised Score?

Hi just received DDs Yr 8 report and it says she scores 126 for her standardised score. I have no idea what this mean though generally I’m really happy with the report (just tells me if she’s above, in line or exceeding and if she’s paying attention in class).

if anyone could explain this score in easy terms I’d appreciate it.

@Nonameoclue Thank you but am absolutely no clearer what it actually means. I don’t really care how it’s calculated I would just like to know if it concurs with the rest of the report and she’s doing ok, well or really well.

Usually 100 is average.
Anything over 115 is usually greater depth so 126 is excellent.
