Tiffin girls sixth form

My dd is about to start year 9 so a little while off but just interested in entry requirements into Tiffin sixth form. She's currently at an independent school but would like a change for alevels. Do the girls need straight 9s? Are they only interested in girls wanting to pursue "academic alevels"?

@35and3 , it's more complicated because some subjects will be filled by pupils already at the school so if for example your dd applies wanting to study maths and all the maths places have been taken then her application is more competitive. It's worth looking at the Tiffin boys school sixth form as well but there is same challenge re popular subjects.

Silly question but can girls go to the boys sixth form?! @tennissquare

Yes it's mixed.

My daughter applied there for a dance programme for 6th form (never consulted us and no way we can pay for it!) and her grade requirement is an average of 8.4

@AuditAngel Tiffin Girls is a state grammar though?

@AuditAngel Tiffin Girls is a state grammar though?

It also doesn't have any dance programmes, so it's clearly not the same school.

There's a 'Myra Tiffin Perfoming Arts' school in Milton Keynes, according to Google...?

Thanks all. My daughter would want to do maths, chemistry and biology so assume these would be quite oversubscribed by current pupils?
