School Appeal deadlines not met by LA

I may be clutching at straws here, but I have a quick question. The LA is supposed to give us 10 school days notice for appeal hearings. We were notified with 7 school days notice that the Part 1 appeal would be Friday 16th June. And told today when our Part 2 meeting would be - which is also 16th June, so 4 school days notice. Have they broken any special rules? I feel we have a strong case, but just looking at every angle! Thanks so much.

@Mcsh1977 The timetable should be published in Feb. see attached. 10 days notice is required. However if they have not met the requirements, what outcome do you want? What straw do you want?!

The only remedy to this would be to push your appeal date back, which would disadvantage you if other appeals were heard and decided. You can complain and see what they say, but that administrative breach won't give you any advantage in the actual outcome of the appeal.

Thanks for the replies. They did set a timetable which they've totally missed. I just wondered on the off chance, whether it would/could affect appeal outcomes as they failed to hit the dead lines. It was a long shot! Just thought it was worth checking.
